a Day in the life of Winnie

Outfit deets:  Hat - New Look, Jacket - Boohoo, Vest - Primark, Shorts - New Look

Hey All
This has been a long awaited post (Since June LOL!) - so thanks so much for your continued patience and support. To begin, a few months back I crossed the Transatlantic (from Orlando, USA) to the picturesque Island of the Bahamas ... and I want to tell you all about it of course.

 The Hotel
First things first
We stayed in a All-Inclusive luxurious hotel called Melia in the capital - Nassau, Bahamas. It was an ultra luxurious experience (well obviously LOL!). We really got to immerse into the culture of the Bahamas with the night Broadway shows, nightlife, gym, pool area, deluxe restaurants (top-notch food haha) & watersport activities which was all supplied in the comfort of our hotel. I forgot to mention that our hotel was (is) a resort so it saved us some $$$ needn't to travel. We also got a chance to visit  the neighboring luxury hotel owned by the same hotel brand called Bahamar - which had extensions like a golf lounge, a private pool area and so much which was nice (more pics & videos on the gram).

The Views
The view of the stunning Island was the best part almost dreamy - breathtaking landscape from my window & luxurious heat - (I'm still tanned and it's September haha). Bahamas really is the tranquil allure of beach & markets with a lot of interesting historical anecdotes. Even as we left the Island to cross over to the Private Paradise Island & Atlantis - we touched the same grounds Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Mic Jagger & much more global icons did. But on the occasion we didn't swim with sharks or the pigs as it was relatively expensive (you need $$$ up in Bahamas for a well rounded experience).

The Life
The life here - A bit far from the ordinary, we enjoyed the view & the surroundings of pristine beaches, turquoise waters, phenomenal tasting cocktails, fruit drinks & nature.

The Experience
Outfit deets: Sun hat - New Look, Vest - River Island
The experience was by far the first best bit. We participated in as much watersport activities as we could. On that note my cousin & I were given the 'honor' as the famous kayaks for diminishing the watersport reputation. We did so bad we had people asking if we were the ones who were sailing away from the shore & screaming. *Story for another day* haha. But some of the activities we got up to were parasailing (which hurt my thighs - owww), jet skiing, swimming and much more. At the gym we found out there was something called 'the Bahamian workout' - which is OUCH! be careful it is a very intense & painful workout. It will seriously Knock You OUT!

The Food
Melia should definitely be crowned for its culinary excellence. The food was of a high standard, well cooked, well served & the customer service was great... And this is the end of the post guys let me know your thoughts & if you want to hear more stories about my experience in the Bahamas by leaving a comment below. I look forward to hearing from you.
